Nápoles
Eracle Hotel

The Hotel Eracle is only 15 minutes by car and 30 minutes by public transport from the famous city of Naples.

Naples is a theatre under the sky, with a very special charm that grabs you from the very first moment that offers an evocative view, with the important volcano Vesuvius and in the distance, its three magnificent islands of Capri, Ischia and Procida.

It also has a beautiful historic centre with more than 25,000 years of history, which in 1995 was also included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.

Here are some of the must-see places to visit in Naples.

Piazza del Plebiscito

It is located just in front of the Royal Palace and is one of the main symbols of Naples. The Piazza del Plebiscito is the site of festivals, events and cultural activities. They say you'll be lucky if you can walk blindfolded from the Royal Palace to the statues of the two horses.

Galleria Umberto I
Galleria Umberto I

The well-known shopping street of Galleria Umberto I begins in Via San Carlo, where the imposing façade appears. It consists of four corridors covered by a large iron and glass vault. With a certain resemblance to the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II in Milan, it is also lined with shops and bars.

Castel Nuovo (Maschio Angioino)
Castel Nuovo (Maschio Angioino)

The Castel Nuovo is another of the main symbols of the city, a medieval and Renaissance castle. Today it houses the Civic Museum and is a venue for shows and cultural evenings. Entrance to the castle costs €6.

Castel dell’ Ovo

The marvellous views of the Gulf of Naples will not leave you indifferent. Access to the castle is free and you can climb up to the Terrace of the Cannoni, where you will find the fascinating views overlooking the sea, the harbour and Vesuvius.
